i am not this anymore...but there's something freeing about posing w/ abandon... why i like taking pic's of moments, be they people, objects or well.. insects..
a womans sexuality matures in a lovely way.. now it's fully clothes and a look is enough, but for posterity, nice to have... being an actress and all.
... the singer from hazy fantazy took them... (do you know 'shiny,shiny').... why am i still awake??? sometimes the night is my salvation.. tonight, eh? just a distraction form past thing surfacing...that happened around time of this shoot... i am a therapists dream, but i ee the patterns & to recognize and acknowledge is half the battle...xo true
also, how beautiful my sunflowers are, how i love my garden.... how many amazing people i've encountered, known, loved, how fortunate i am to be a able to take care of of me, i think you get picture. still kinda the glam life, and still me... after all these years, and that's w/ no make up...and a head full of riddles...
p.s. i call this pic- which way did they go?
I like the "non-glam" picture of you, over the "glamorized" ones. Seems to be more genuine, though both pictures are of you. It is more relatable and the beauty is more natural and sexier than any Hollywood could regurgitate (sp?).
ReplyDelete"Glam" or "non-glam", it doesn't matter. The important thing is that you're still our Rachel. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with Brent, you've fabulous! Stylists can't manufacture that natural shine of yours!
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous, babe. No stylists or primpers needed. (Or pimpers, for that matter.)
ReplyDelete(BTW, El, yes, you indeed spelled "regurgitate" correctly ... although that's not exactly a word I would use, in any context, when leaving a comment regarding on the lovely Ms. True.)
(Although I guess I just did.)
(Damn.)
You look great, Rachel. Keep breaking hearts and taking names.
Or breaking names and taking hearts. Hell, your call.
In the "which way did they go?" pic, you look like a sixteen year old. If you have a boyfriend it would not be wise for him to carry this picture of you in his wallet. He would find himself in quite a bit of trouble carrying around a picture of an underage girl. The camera does have a knack for capturing your youth and innocence. Is that acting or is your soul youthful and innocent? Question of the day.
ReplyDeleteRachel you don't look much different in the current pics as you do in your historical pics.
ReplyDeleteIn Half&Half you were playing mid tweenties and getting away with it all day long. I had to verify the dates on IMDB because I am astounded at your Peter Panning.
What ever your Fountain of Youth secret is you should bottle it and sell it.
ReplyDeleteRACHEL, I LOVE YOUR STYLE! where do you shop for clothes? what brands do you wear? i've a short woman & have gained some considerable weight lately, and am having a terrible time finding flattering clothes that fit.
ReplyDeletei think you are a beautiful strong woman. YOU ROCK!
and yes, i think natural is most beautiful.

I'm really happy & feelin really good in my life,An now I have peace in my soul,So how did I get like this?....Just go look in the Mirror,An you will see.....BEAUTIFUL ALWAYS...TrUe_U
ReplyDeleteI loved the then pictures then... I love the now pictures now. Fortunately, as we mature, our sense of beauty does as well. It's not so much glam or not, its the facial expressions that are different now. Also, "then" your beauty was something to look at, now its something to look into... then again, maybe that's just the way I see it...
ReplyDeleteBut you do look like a teenager... Much respect
That last comment was from me. I didn't realize my wife was still logged in.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that you talked about sexual maturity. I've been having a similar discussion with a former schoolmate of mine who playfully lamented the changes she's experienced since her 20's. I reminded her that her man thinks she's sexy now, so why lament?
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm quite sure you are getting as many if not more looks than ever.
I like the pics. U look so young. not to say that U R not, but you look like you are in your 20s.
ReplyDeleteI kinda chanced upon following you. I was sitting here(on my couch) and I was thinking to myself and I said 'Self, what other shows has Rachel True appeared in?' So I googled your name and there you where on Facebook, and where a blogger and I just started blogging about a month before I new all this and now I'm also following you on twitter.
Never been much of a fanatic of anyone other than the 'Jackson family'(along with everyone else); however, I have enjoyed following you on the various sites.
You seem cool as that thang...as the young people would put...I personally would say cool as the fan...LOL..Ok! that was funny too me.
I would like to end by saying thanks for keeping it real.
Peace,
Tomiko
thanks, @ grooveygirl.. i think young at heart...
ReplyDeleteMy GOODNESS, you are cute!!
ReplyDeleteThe studio shots are nice, but you look more natural and actually, younger in pic 2. It is a little overexposed on your face (yes, I nitpic for a living), but that gives it kind of a nice glow.
Nice contrast w Spidey shots too!
Your skin is flawless!
ReplyDeleteI love this pic!!! I'm 20 and I dont even look that young..You have a gift, girlfriend! Cherish it!
ReplyDeleteRACHEL, I THINK YOUR BEAUTIFUL, YOUNG, AND INSPIRING. I LOVED YOUR SHOW HALF & HALF AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN IN A NEW SITCOM, I MISS YOU ON TV.
