While I am not an President Obama fan, I agree with you that the caricatures of him with the little Hitler mustache and the Joker makeup job are downright disrespectful.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10783786819196459786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6955373216870527513.post-86472567162717177012009-08-21T22:33:26.290-07:002009-08-21T22:33:26.290-07:00agreed, warmislandsun.. i was thinking of the pick...agreed, warmislandsun.. i was thinking of the picketers, who were white, and poor white republicans i grew up around- but your right, one shouldn't generalize. i think i removed it.Rachel Truehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14589255981935986309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6955373216870527513.post-4357164693933752782009-08-21T18:49:44.444-07:002009-08-21T18:49:44.444-07:00Be careful with your stereotypes. So, please, be careful with your stereotypes.warmislandsunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00504913800082949474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6955373216870527513.post-32449358646364057532009-08-20T20:39:05.968-07:002009-08-20T20:39:05.968-07:00Here's the rub...politics is perception.
Thr...Here's the rub...politics is perception.

Throughout the history of this great nation of ours, the Conservative politicians have capitalized on the under-educated working class. They point blame for the troubles in their life and make them afraid of it.

Our troubles in this country started long before Obama. No matter who was in office, they would be ostracized by the uninformed public. Tho I may not agree with everything our President is doing, I give him credit for doing something.

One problem I have is the cash for clunkers. An incentive for putting Americans into more debt. Fuel efficiency is not always cost effective.

Here's a book, among many, that may help put our nation's predicament into perspective. "The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve" by G.Edward Griffin.

As always, read, research and form your own conclusions.Seekerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11116423583616260209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6955373216870527513.post-12788233325270855252009-08-20T18:06:45.080-07:002009-08-20T18:06:45.080-07:00It is frightening when the least intelligent of th...It is frightening when the least intelligent of the U.S. drives the national agenda.

Sadly these are the same unintelligent souls who helped Bush drive the Iraq War. Now the Healthcare Industry is using politicians to exploit the poor for their own riches. The corporatization of our government is a virus we are not soon to be rid of.

Once again Rachel your point is right on.Groovygurlhttp://www.myspace.com/tbennett443noreply@blogger.com
